A positive test for COVID-19 brings many fears and many questions. “Can I recover at home?” “How will I take care of myself if I’m quarantined?” “When will I know if I need to go to the hospital?”
Our specialized COVID care puts all those concerns to rest by providing professional health expertise at the patient’s home so they feel safe, secure, and supported. Each of our caregivers is assigned to only one client and will receive hospital-grade personal protective equipment (PPE) to diminish any concerns of cross-infection.
Whether a patient’s symptoms are moderate or mild, our caregivers help them manage both their household and their health in a breadth of ways:
- Assist with day-to-day tasks around the home
- Provide symptom treatment and monitoring
- Watch for causes of concern, such as poor oxygen levels
- Assist with bathing and dressing
- Prepare meals and help with feeding
- Provide companionship and social support
- Offer communication to families or other support systems
