None of us ever knows when life is going to offer us an unwelcome surprise. In the case of an injury that requires prolonged recovery, that means limited abilities — and need for care and assistance.
But one thing we do know is that the best way for a patient to recover faster is to let them rest and focus on getting well, free from any other challenges or concerns.
Whether a patient’s injury results from a car accident, work, a fall, or some other misfortune, and whether they’re confined to their bed or they’re able to get up and move around, our goal is always the same: Our team of caregivers and nurses wants to work with the client so they can live safely at home, receiving the best treatment and the best assistance.
We fill such important roles as:
- Undertaking housekeeping and home management
- Administering medication
- Helping with recovery therapies or exercises
- Preparing and administering ice packs
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Preparing and serving meals
- Shopping and running errands
- Washing laundry and dishes
- Providing basic care for pets or children
Each member of our staff is trained on medical lifts and other equipment that will ensure the safety of our clients in recovery. They’ll bring their health expertise and attention to detail in following the plan set out by the physical or occupational assistant so patients can enjoy a speedy and stressless rehabilitation process.
