Whenever a new employee joins our team, Heartfelt Care at Home completes a full nationwide background check and drug screen. We know how important it is to properly screen each person before determining to hire them and send them out into your home. But we don’t stop there.
We have invested in ongoing monitoring as well.
Heartfelt Care at Home provides an industry-leading training certification to all of our employees called a “Personal Care Worker” certification. This certification takes them through a full series of video training followed up by hands-on training in our state-of-the-art training facilities. Every caregiver must pass a skills test to ensure they are well equipped to safely provide all personal care for each client they serve.
This comprehensive training includes safe transfers, how to assist with toileting and bathing, as well as more advanced training with personal care tasks, and other devices used to assist with more advanced disabilities. Every Heartfelt Care at Home caregiver meets and exceeds the State of Colorado licensing requirements. Before a caregiver ever comes to your home, we provide them with a full plan of care that is developed by the Client Care Coordinator who initially came to assess and sign-on your loved one for our services.
We use state of the art technology to make this plan of care available to them through a HIPAA-compliant smart phone application ensuring that your personal and private health information is kept safe and secure. Your Heartfelt Care at Home caregiver will utilize this same smart phone app to clock-in and out via GPS technology and to document all tasks performed. This information can then made available to you in real-time via our online “Family Room” portal giving you full transparency into the care that is being provided to your loved one.
